Decent Work: a term adopted by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and embraced by Global Unions, employers and governments to unify and strengthen the respect of four strategic objectives:
1) Creating jobs;
2) Guaranteeing rights at work;
3) Extending social protection; and
4) Promoting social dialogue.

The ITUC now coordinates trade union actions throughout the world to highlight Decent Work and these can be examined along with those by Canadian trade unions at http://2014.wddw.org/
